We Are Augustines at Great Scott September 27
I feel like I should start having my mail delivered straight to Great Scott, with how much time I’ve been spending there. Whoever is doing the booking down there in Allston earned his salary with a non-stop lineup of killer acts this month. I feel bad for everyone who missed the Viva Voce show last night.
Since there were only about 12 people in the venue, I’m guessing that includes most of you. For the uninitiated, Viva Voce are a guy/girl Matt and Kim-esque indie-pop/rock duo and they jammed pretty hard last night, attendance-be-damned. And God-Damn that girl can play the guitar.
TONIGHT (9/27/2011), We Are Augustines are playing with Leisure (doors at 9, tickets here), and I’ll definitely be going.
Tomorrow (9/28/2011), Hallelujah the Hills are playing with Earthquake Party!, and The Fagettes. If my parents weren’t flying in that night, I’d definitely be attending this as well. Check out some samples of the music below:
