Boston Concerts Next Week: September 28-October 3

I want to emphasize that I 100% vouch for all of these shows. This is not nearly an exhaustive list of the shows going on in Boston, but I guarantee that you will hear some great music at any of these places.

Listen, I know you’re already exhausted from seeing some great live music all this week. tUnE-YarDs and Prussia rocked the house at Paradise on Wednesday; Yuck, Mean Creek, and Jim Ward  gave us a blistering show ranging from alt-country to garage pop at TT’s on Thursday; and  The Hush Now gave us a fun night of indie-pop at the enticingly sketchy new venue, Foundry 24.

And I know that y’all are all still trying to decide whether to see Girls or Stephen Malkmus  tonight, and you’re pouring over last weeks list of concerts. But it’s time to start prepping for next weeks straight-pimpin’ lineup.

Wednesday, September 28:

Hallelujah the Hills and Earthquake Party!  will be tearing it up at Great Scott. I saw Earthquake Party! open for the Handsome Furs at one of my favorite concerts of the year, and I will personally guarantee you’ll have  a good time at this show. Tickets here.
